Gabriel Fine Weiss founded Legal Aid for All, Inc. in 2018 and currently serves as its Founder
and Chief Executive Officer, overseeing the nonprofit’s mission of providing legal services to
working individuals and others in need who cannot afford private attorneys. Gabe graduated
from Columbia University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Film & Media Studies while
simultaneously earning a Bachelor of Arts in Jewish Texts & Interpretation from the Jewish
Theological Seminary. At JTS, he was selected as one of only three students for the Honors
Program and Senior Honors Thesis. Gabe was a recipient of the JTS Fellow’s Award, a
$100,000 merit fellowship and the most prestigious undergraduate award offered by JTS, as well as the JTS Dr. Joseph Garrison Parker Award for outstanding work in art and music. He
was also a recipient of the Georgia-Pacific Foundation Scholarship for academic excellence and
community service. He is currently pursuing his Master of Arts in Film & Media Studies at
Columbia University.
Gabe is a United States Congressional Award Gold Medal winner, the highest and most
prestigious award that the United States Congress bestows upon an American youth for
outstanding initiative, public service, and achievement. His record of leadership also includes
serving as President of Columbia’s Anime Club, Secretary and a member of the Executive
Board of Columbia University E-Sports, and Captain and Manager of Columbia’s Valorant team,
where he helped oversee major student programming, tournaments, industry events, and Ivy
League Valorant. Gabe was also recognized as one of the Atlanta Jewish Times’ “Atlanta’s 18
Under 18 Rising Stars,” honoring young leaders for community service, leadership, and
academic achievement.
In addition to his academic and nonprofit work, Gabe is a writer, filmmaker, and musician. Gabe
is a member of the American Film Institute, Organization of Independent Filmmakers of New
York City, and Independent Filmmakers Guild of America, and continues to perform as a
drummer in Columbia University’s Louis Armstrong Jazz Program.
Through Legal Aid for All, Gabe continues to build on a record defined by service, creativity,
leadership, and achievement.
