Gabriel Fine Weiss founded Legal Aid for All, Inc. in 2018. Gabe is currently in his senior year at Columbia University and at Jewish Theological Seminary, working on his Bachelor's Degrees simultaneously from both schools, and will be graduating with honors from both schools in May 2025. Gabe is a recipient of the JTS Fellow’s Award, the Georgia-Pacific Corp. Merit Scholarship, the 2020 NSHSS Robert Sheppard Student Leadership Scholarship, administered by the National Society of High School Scholars, the Robert Sheppard Student Leadership Scholarship, and the CollegeBoard AP Scholar Award. At Columbia, Gabe is the drummer for one of the top jazz ensemble groups in the prestigious Louis Armstrong Jazz Performance Program, playing concerts and shows at Columbia and at symphony halls in New York City. Gabe also competes for Columbia against other colleges and universities in League of Legends, Overwatch, and Valorant, and he is Captain and Manager for Columbia’s Valorant team. Gabe is also the Secretary and is on the E-Sports Executive Board of Directors, managing Columbia University’s largest club and its two subsidiaries (Game Development/GameDev and Rhythm Game), coordinating beta play testing for new industry games, and managing Ivy League Valorant (“IvyVal”). He is also President of Columbia's Anime Club, providing viewings and reviewing anime shows, facilitating discussions on anime’s role and impact on society, and exploring careers in the anime industry.
Gabe is a United States Congressional Award Gold Medal winner, which is the highest and most prestigious award that the U.S. Congress bestows upon an American youth for outstanding initiative, public service, and achievement. Gabriel has also received recognition as one of 2018 Atlanta Jewish Times’ Atlanta’s 18 Under 18 Rising Stars, awarded by the Atlanta Jewish Times/The Times of Israel to honor Atlanta’s rising stars based upon leadership, community service, and academic excellence.
